This single-sponsor project involves a seismically-based analysis of large Tertiary delta systems, and the development of generic models for reservoir development in delta-fed slopes and basin-floor turbidite systems. Case studies currently include the Nile cone and the Ebro delta system. BG currently endows Ben Kneller’s Readership at University of Aberdeen, and supports two PhD students, Vanessa Kertznus and Phil Thompson.
